Who Needs An Inspection

FIRST TIME

HOME BUYERS

It wasn’t that long ago that I bought my first home. Even with my then three years training as a carpenter, I wasn’t sure what I was getting into. I relied on the knowledge and experience of a local home inspector. I still remember how he eased me into the concept that the house had some issues but not to be alarmed. I want to do the same for you! I can promise you your house will have some issues, even new houses do. I will identify those issues and guide you through these areas. It is hard to know what is a major problem and what “looks” like a major problem. I understand that buying a house is a major investment and your first home is where you start the next chapter of your life. I want to be there to help you make an informed decision and answer all of your questions.

I think it’s safe to say that right now it’s a buyers market. So how can you, the seller make your house stand out to potential buyers? The answer is simple, get a home inspection. Knowing your house is paramount in selling your home. When you know your home you know what its worth, you know who wants to buy it and you know what you can do to get more buyers interested. You man even get more money for it. Get a home inspection! If something is wrong you can fix it or you can adjust your price. Stand proud by your house and stand out in the market. Take the initiative and sell your house faster.

Anniversary Inspections

You did it! You bought a house, congratulations. Now it’s time to get to work. So you did everything when you were buying and you got a qualified inspector to help your real estate agent and you get the right house for the right price. What about the issues that inspector found? Maybe new issues have come up that you would like to ask a professional about. Were the old issues all fixed, or monitored properly? Don’t let your biggest investment lose value. Truthfully it’s not always easy for an inspector to come in the house for a couple of hours and tell you if the issues are old and done getting worse or new and just starting. With a follow up inspection we can now have a much better understanding of what is going on in your house. Just like when you were buying your house it makes sense to spend a little money to save you a lot.
