As our company continues to grow, we’re looking for knowledgeable inspectors with hands-on experience in the carpentry, electrical, or HVAC trades who can bring practical insight and a sharp eye for detail to every inspection.
Position Overview
We’re seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Home Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential construction or trades work, excellent communication skills, and the ability to deliver high-quality inspection reports that our clients can trust.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive home inspections in accordance with provincial and company standards
Identify, document, and explain the 9 sections of the home and its systems and safety issues
Prepare clear, professional digital reports with photos and recommendations
Communicate findings effectively and professionally with clients
Maintain knowledge of industry standards, building codes, and inspection practices
Show up to the property clean, ready to work and on time
Qualifications
Experience in carpentry, electrical, HVAC, or general contracting (required)
Licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Home Inspector in Saskatchewan
Strong understanding of home construction and systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with smartphones, tablets, and inspection software
Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
Preferred Assets
InterNACHI or CAHPI certification
Customer service or real estate experience
Self-motivated and able to work independently
